Clear Arabic throughout the product journey

Arabic app localization

Give Arabic-speaking users clear instructions at each step of your app. The Arabic Studio translates and localizes interface copy, onboarding, notifications and support text into Arabic. We work from an agreed string inventory and product context, with the delivery format and linguistic review responsibilities defined before production.

Illustrative Arabic interface

Map the app journey before translating strings

An app asks users to take actions in a limited space. Signing up, granting permission, completing a payment and recovering from an error all need wording that matches the actual behaviour. Identify your priority flows and include the screens, states and messages that belong to each one.

Share the approved source strings with screenshots or a preview where available. Explain what each key controls and where the user sees it. Repeated English words may need different Arabic translations when one is a button, another is a status and a third is an instruction.

Give short text enough context

A useful Arabic app translation brief includes character limits, glossary terms and the intended audience. Provide descriptions for ambiguous labels and name the tone you want in confirmations, errors and help messages. Include notification copy, email text or store descriptions only where they are part of the agreed scope.

Keep placeholders, variables, markup and code tokens clearly identified. Tell us which elements must remain unchanged and how values appear in the interface. Arabic grammatical choices can depend on those values, so screenshots and development notes are often more useful than an isolated spreadsheet cell.

Review Arabic in the real interface

Arabic reads from right to left, but mixed content such as email addresses, verification codes and product references may retain another direction. Short strings can also expand in translation. The rendered interface needs checks for clipping, misplaced punctuation and messages that no longer fit their available space.

Plural forms and dynamic sentences should be discussed with your developer before the resource format is finalised. We can flag linguistic requirements during scope review; implementation in your framework, SDK or product code is not assumed to be included in a translation order. Agree responsibility for each technical change.

Define a release-ready language handoff

Confirm the resource format, naming conventions and approved string version before translation. Tell us whether delivery will be a spreadsheet, agreed text resource or another supported format. App-store publication, software development and platform testing remain separate activities unless explicitly included in the project scope.

A linguistic review in a supplied build or preview can help check whether the Arabic wording matches its screen. Agree access, review coverage and how comments will return to the product team. For later releases, send changed strings with their context so updates can be reviewed without confusing them with earlier approved versions.

  • Approved string inventory with stable keys.
  • Screen context, user actions and audience.
  • Placeholders, limits and protected technical elements.
  • Resource format, preview access and release priorities.

Start with the flows that matter most

Send your source-language strings and describe your app’s core tasks. We assess volume, context and review needs before agreeing a quote and delivery schedule. If the product also has a marketing website, scope its pages separately: website navigation and app interface strings have different contexts, formats and approval workflows.

Before you start

What do you need to translate our app into Arabic?

Provide the source strings, stable keys, screenshots or other screen context, target audience and delivery format. Include variables and character limits so they can be assessed before work begins.

Does app localization include software development?

Not automatically. Translation, in-context language review and technical implementation have different responsibilities. The brief and quote should state which work is included.

Can we localize one release or a selected flow first?

Yes, identify the priority flows and all related interface states. Keep a clear source version so later strings and revisions can be managed consistently.

Prepare your project brief

Send your string inventory, screen context and planned delivery format.
